Dr Sotelo was born in Philadelphia and raised in Greensburg , Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1997. Upon completion of fours years of dental school, Dr. Sotelo was selected to attend a general practice residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. This highly desired residency position is a prestigious appointment. The residency allowed Dr. Sotelo to broaden his knowledge in many new fields of dentistry. Dr. Sotelo is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry and has recently received a prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, a designation only 9 percent of dentists in the country have received.
